Growing note
One of the fastest kitchen-garden crops to go from seed to plate: soak whole methi seeds (the kind sold for cooking) overnight and they germinate within days. Ready to cut as leafy methi in about 3-4 weeks; harvest cut-and-come-again a couple of times before it bolts and flowers. Tolerates partial sun better than most fruiting vegetables, which makes it a good fit for a balcony that only gets a few hours of direct light.
